CYMBIDIUM ORCHIDS

To your surprise they look artificial but they are the most precious species of orchids. They come in a variety of colour and will definitely give a run for your money! Cymbidium orchids may have small flowers compared to some orchid varieties, but their multiple flower spikes ensure a satisfying display.

ONCIDIUM ORCHIDS

These varieties are also called as Dancing dolls as each bloom resembles the structure of dancing doll. This low-care orchid includes the popular ‘Sharry Baby,’ which emits a sweet cocoa fragrance. These orchids need consistent moisture and humidity; failure to meet this requirement results in leaf deformities.

PHALAENOPSIS ORCHIDS

These varieties are most commonly used as a potted plant in public areas of the hotels which need guest attention. This orchid is ideal as it tolerates clumsy re-potting efforts and it blooms on and off throughout the year.

VANDA ORCHIDS

These come in most beautiful colours like pink, blue, purple, orange etc. And found in abundance in beautiful country of Thailand. Vanda orchids are as exotic as their name. You will often see them growing in special orchid baskets; otherwise, you must use a very chunky growing medium for these plants. These orchids are picky about their environment and demand high light and humidity conditions.

TIGER ORCHIDS

Big blooms of yellow with reddish-brown stripes make Tiger Orchids a striking house plant. If one is talking about some of the weirdest flowers of the world, the name of tiger orchid certainly ranks at the top of the list. Their flowers have petals that are golden yellow in colour their sepals of reddish brown stripes just like tigers. If tiger is the animal that ignites your imagination, tiger orchid is the plant you should keep and grow at home.
