 Mutton (Lamb Meatballs)-KHAIMO with EDIMI RECIPE.(Spicy stuffed poories)


Mutton (lamb) meatballs.

  • Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground lamb meat,

  • 2 in. ginger, 3-4 garlic cloves, handful cilantro made in a paste.

  • 3 tbsp green chili paste masala and extra 2 tbsp to add to the oil.

  • 1 tsp turmeric.

  • 1 tbsp garam masala.

  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder.

  • 1tbsp Khobra masala- roast dry dessicated coconut ,whole garam masala ,ginger ,garlic on tava till medium brown. Paste and keep aside.

  • Oil 4-5 tbsp. Savji mutton meat balls is usually very oily. Adjust oil according to taste.

  • Method:

  • Mix ginger garlic cilantro paste and red chilli powder in the meat and minced all together.

  • Then with this mince make medium size meat balls with oil on palms.

  • Now heat oil in a pan fry this meat balls in a generous amount of oil till golden brown.. Add turmeric,coriander powder and water ,let the meat balls cook then add green chili paste,khobra paste, garam masala to the meat with salt according to taste. Mix completely with spoon. Make sure everything is completely homogeneous.

  • Cover and let cook for 10 minutes.

  • Uncover, add kala masala, red chili powder, turmeric and cover and cook for 10 minutes, making sure not to burn the red chili powder.

  • Adjust time accordingly.

  • When thoroughly cooked enjoy with roti or masale bhaat.

EDIMI RECIPE.(Spicy stuffed poories)

Ingredients:

Besan Flour-1cup

All purpose flour-1-1/2 cup.

1tspn oil for kneading the dough.

1tbspn –Green chilli,ginger,garlic,salt and cumin paste.

Turmeric powder-1tspn

Oil for frying the pooris.

Method:

1.Make a dough out of besan flour,salt,turmeric powder and green chilli paste just put little water just to make a tight dough.

2.Then make a dough out of all puerpose flour,salt and oil same as parathas dough.

3.Now make small pooris out of the all purpose dough and stuffed the besan dough in the white dough same as you do to stuffed kchoories.

4.Now apply some oil on this small pooris and roll out this small pooris into large pooris.

5.Once this poories are size of a chapatti deep fry them in oil till well fried.

Serve this delicious and spicy eidimis (poories) with our Khaimo.
